Visit Away Request

Petitions for permission to visit away for a Summer, Fall or Spring semester must be submitted to the Vice Dean prior to attending the other law school. The Vice Dean in consultation with the Dean, will consider the petition in light of the best interests of the student and the School of Law. Students who are granted visiting away status must complete all course and other requirements of the School of Law based either on work completed at the School of Law or on work completed at the other law school pursuant to a program of study approved in advance by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. For the effect of visiting away on eligibility to take subsequent courses on an optional pass-fail basis, see “Pass-Fail Grading Program” in Student Handbook and Honor Code.
